Certification & Experiential Tracks

There are two options for taking Sacred Bodywork classes. The Experiential Track is open to all bodyworkers. Click here for more information on the Certification and Experiential Tracks.
Each of these classes teaches skills that can be immediately and seamlessly integrated into your current sessions. They each have the power to shift your focus and intention in a way that allows your clients to experience a deeper state of relaxation.
The Sacred Bodyworker™ has several unique goals:
  1. To diffuse the Energetic Matrix by working with mind, body and energy.
  2. To use touch primarily as a transportation system, connecting the client to self, spirit and/or universe.
  3. To assist the client to reach a state of Systemic Relaxation.
  4. To combine and meld working on the physical and energy body. Sacred Bodywork uses techniques such as Opening the Veil, Spirit Welcome, Melting, Golden Butterfly Opens the Window, Fine Tissue Work as well as Cranialsacral and Polarity techniques. Because these techniques meld  physical and energy work they allow the client to enter into a deep state of relaxation and a transcendent experience.
  5. To work with a meditative presence. The Sacred Practices teaches the professional to obtain and sustain a meditative presences and allows the professional to clear the dynamics that may be preventing them from attaining this state of mind.
  6. To be a skilled guide. Every element of a Sacred Bodywork session is selected for its transportive ability to lead the client from the earthly realm to a range of experiences called The Wonders of Heaven. Someone who is untrained would not be able to successfully take us on river rafting trip. The professional cannot be a knowledgable guide if they are unfamiliar with the waters and to this end, the Sacred Bodyworker explores their own experiences of stress, relaxation, pain, letting go, holding patterns, etc. so that they can identify and tune into their clients state of mind and body. With this level of familiarity, the professional is able to quickly hone in and use their quality of touch and presence as well as choice of techniques to be a competent guide.
  7. To be on The Dual Path. As in any healthy relationship, both parties, the client and the professional, must be on their own individual journey of healing, growth, self-exploration and transformation. To this end, the Sacred Practices are built into the professional training.
Sacred Bodywork is not psychotherapy or any other kind of talk therapy. The system of the Energetic Matrix that holds our behavioral, emotional, physical and thought patterns is effected solely through this meditative approach of hands-on bodywork.
The Dual Path Institute offers two options: one leading to Sacred Bodywork Certification and the other for those who want to gain some of the skills this program offers. Modules 9, 10 & 11 are only open to those who are on the Certification Track. Click here for more information on the Experiential Track and eligibility, and requirements for the SBCP ( Sacred Bodywork Certification Program).

SB1: Creating Space, Body & Mind

This 3-day class (24 NCTMB CE hours) is the first level of the Sacred Bodywork Certification Program. It uses concepts of the Dual Path from Monique’s book The Dual Path: Sacred Practices and Bodywork and consists of working with the Energetic Matrix – the physical, emotional, mind, dream and spirit body. Sacred Bodywork emphasizes contact with the physical body as an access point to the Energetic Matrix and by meeting the physical body with the depth that is appropriate, listening to and honoring the undercurrents by sustaining the contact, we honor the client as a whole. In turn this enables a profound yet gentle clearing or diffusing of the holding patterns or disruptions within the Energetic Matrix. SB1 lays the foundation for this work, focusing on creating space in mind and body so the client can be guided in to a deep state of relaxation called Systemic Relaxation. As the professional learns to tune in to the quality of space in their clients’ mind and body they develop skills to lead their client from whatever state they are in to one that is spacious and at ease. In this class we will focus on the Dual Path precept that both the client and the professional are on the path. Participants will learn to use meditation, breathing and focusing practices as you work so as to develop the physical and mental clarity, focus and degree of relaxation that is required to honor the sacredness of the moment and to guide your client to System Relaxation.

SB2: Breathing Into the Sacred Ecosystem Within

This 2-day (16 NCTMB CE hours) class builds on SB1: Creating Space, Mind and Body and focuses more deeply on connecting with and following the clients breath to make a deep and sustained contact that brings both client and professional to a dreamy, fluid state of being. You will learn to sink into and swim with the Sacred Ecosystem Within, the internal tides and rhythms below the surface. We will also work with the Sacred Bodywork concept of using the shifts that occur in a session to cultivate a resetting of the clients system by incorporating the practices of journaling and contemplation. We will continue to use meditation, breathing and focusing practices to develop the physical and mental clarity, focus and degree of relaxation that is required to honor the sacredness of the moment and to guide the client to System Relaxation.

SB3: Rippling

1 Day. 8 NCTMB CE hours. Rippling is a type a rocking motion that gently opens areas of the client that are stuck or holding and is particularly effective when more direct techniques are not working. This technique involves close observation of the body and the breath, as well as developing the ability to. We will continue to use meditation, breathing and focusing practices to develop the physical and mental clarity, focus and degree of relaxation that is required to honor the sacredness of the moment and to guide the client to System Relaxation.

SB4: Swirling the Mind

This 3-day class (24 NCTMB CE hours) builds a larger toolbox of Sacred Bodywork techniques. We will discuss the mind/body connection and how this particular set of techniques, such as Golden Butterfly Opens the Window, Softening the Clay and Infinity, are particularly effective for ‘getting the mind out of the way’, increasing the likelihood of the client slipping into a state of Systemic Relaxation. We will look at the World of Sacred Possibilities, transcendent states where the deep and lasting shifts can occur. We will continue to use meditation, breathing and focusing practices to develop the physical and mental clarity, focus and degree of relaxation that is required to honor the sacredness of the moment and to guide the client to System Relaxation

It then continues by exploring the uses of sound and vibration, their effects on the mind and body, their power to heal and make subtle and profound shifts.
